Zohrehsadat Noohi, a PhD candidate in Materials Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology, is investigating the effects of Phase Change Materials (PCM) on the cast macro and microstructure of Al alloys under supervision of Prof. Behzad Niroumand and Prof. Masoud Panjehpour. She received a scholarship from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran to go on a sabbatical leave at University of Padova, Italy, for 6 months under supervision of Prof. Giulio Timelli. Through this period (2020-2021), she advanced experimental and simulation parts of her dissertation. She has successfully published a review paper in the journal pf Metals [1], a research paper in the Journal of La Metallurgia Italiana [2] and presented a paper in the international HTDC conference (23-25 June 2021, Italy).
