Mehri Hashemzadeh, now a Ph.D. graduate in Materials Engineering, worked on incorporation of Ti in PEO coating on Al7075 alloy and investigated its effect on the structure and properties of the coating under supervision of Prof. K. Raeissi and Prof. F. Ashrafizadeh at the Department of Materials Engineering in Isfahan University of Technology. She spent a 15 months (3/2021-12/2022) sabbatical leave in Materials and Surface Engineering Group at the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany, under supervision of Prof. Lampke. As a result of this fruitful cooperation, she successfully published scientific papers in ISI journals (Trans. Nonferrous Met. Soc. China 2021 [1] as well as Coatings 2022 [2]). The great success of her sabbatical was made possible by scholarships from the Ministry of Science Research and Technology of Iran and Chemnitz University of Technology.
